With utmost regret, We would like to inform you that, Mr. Zama has not respected his agreement towards Jame-Doosti .

The agreement between Mr. Hedayat Shoar- Ghafari on behalf of Jame-Doosti committee and Mr. Zama  was as follows in late June 2008:

1.       Jame-Doosti is the name of the tournament.

2.       Jame-Doosti is run based on the committee selected from the teams to ensure the unity of all the teams under the name of Jame-Doosti.

With regard to the name  ( 1) , he has been using the name “ International-Friendship cup of Iran” NOT Jame-Doosti.

With regard to selection of a new committee ( 2) , there is nothing been mentioned in his website. Also, When Mr. Zama was asked the question again, his answer was, what do we need the committee for. He clearly does not want a committee. We do not understand his motives when he agreed to the above terms with Mr. Hedayat Shoar-Ghafari.

Also, the teams that contacted Mr. Zama after receiving our announcement regarding to have J.D in OC faced the penalty of been late for registration.

We had nice traditions in Jame-Doosti which made this tournament different.

 For example, Mr. Siamak Rahmani used to invite Shaheen AZ as guest all the time because Mr. Yahyapour is the founder of the Jame Doosti and Shaheen AZ is his team. Respecting this fact is the cornerstone of J.D.  

This tournament is all about respect and friendship. The teams are the owners rather than an individual.

Where are we now?

Now after one month and not seeing  the changes. Also, after been contacted by many teams regarding the discrepancies, we feel obligated to inform all the teams of what has happened. We did our best to have all the teams under the name of Jame-Doosti and you can clearly see who violated that agreement.

We know that a lot of teams have bought their airline tickets,…..therefore, changing plan is not possible for a lot of teams. At the same time, there are some teams who feel very strongly to preserve our tournament which is Jame-Doosti .    we wish them a good time whereever they are during the laborday weekend.

We wish,  we could all be together like our previous Jame-Doostis, but it is too late for this year.  we will see all at next year September 2009 Jamedoosti.
